The Guardian

The undeserving favorite of the Angel; she who will protect others, but cannot guard them against her own failure.

Something inspired by ~RukiHiroshi's character, Tailor, whom of which has tarot-card like titles for a few of the other cores. (As likely guessed, Band's happens to be 'the Guardian'. Both the title and the italicized 'flavor text' are credited to Essa.). I've had the idea in my head for a while, then just /had/ to go and draw 'Vibrancy', so I finally just went 'hell why not?' and forced it from my head.

Obviously, tried to mimic a tarot card... and, as always, miss the idea entirely (I can't ever seem to hit the damn concepts, can I?). As such, there's quite a bit of symbolism in this. Those that know me (and Band) well enough might be able to find all of the little hidden things in there.

Everything--from the notes/staff in the background to the scrolly-things in the brown border--was sketched out by hand. The only thing that wasn't was the text. (Actually, I REALLY need to thank ~maebelleine for that border idea; I'd still be stuck if she hadn't given me the idea). X__X And the background still sucks, but I am so sick of fussing, I just do not care.

... these are actually quite fun. I might have to do more... you know, when I go insane again XD
